Napa, CA, May 9, 2016. (Press Release Here) Oztera, a leading provider of business solutions for wine, agriculture and manufacturing industries, today announced the release of its latest version of TeraVina software. Built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016, this latest TeraVina release delivers on the promise of advanced mobile technology, giving wineries the power to access critical insights from their phones, while automating the complex and often unique processes of individual wineries.
The latest TeraVina release builds on enhancements to the core Microsoft Dynamics NAV (NAV) solution which include:
· Subscription based pricing and cloud deployment
· A complete workflow management engine that enables customized workflows without programming
· Document management and Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
· Tight Microsoft Office integration (including customization of individual invoices directly in Microsoft Word)
· Enhanced collaboration with third parties – including vendors and customers
· Social media integration
· Numerous enhancements that lead to increased efficiencies in all areas of a business
Wineries using TeraVina will find enhancements to all aspects of their production supply chain. According to Mike Stallmann, Director of Product & Business Development, “the latest release, designed with the help of our clients, will eliminate last minute scrambles that invariably occur during production by adding a visual production scheduler tied to annual plans”. In addition to keeping the winery on track, the plan can also be used to alert suppliers of the winery’s future orders. Enhancements to document management and workflow allow busy winemakers to photograph invoices or receipts using a phone app and then route it through the AP process in TeraVina. Stallmann expects this release to improve communication in all aspects of the business by providing full access via mobile devices.
Complex payment terms and billing arrangements related to grape purchases or sales are now seamlessly handled in TeraVina as are complex expense allocations required for proper costing of bulk wine.
Oztera has combined their knowledge of manufacturing processes with deep agriculture and farming expertise to create an integrated solution that gives winery owners a complete picture of their business. Minou Barabi, President of Oztera, says, “I am so happy to offer winery owners a solution with the best of both worlds – a depth of customizable advanced features plus mobile and web access. Often business owners are forced to accept one or the other.”
