Microsoft Is Listening

We have been working with the Dynamics NAV/BC platform for almost 20 years now.  Ever since Microsoft acquired the Danish company Navision and got into the ERP world, we have had the pleasure to work with their team and transform businesses in various sectors.  Seeing all the advancements over the years has also been exciting and we continue to keep pace with the changing landscape of technology.  Over the past 3 years though, this pace has increased dramatically.  We have seen more encouraging changes in these last few years than all the prior years combined.  This is due to several factors, including Microsoft’s increased investment in the Dynamics platforms.

It also is due to Microsoft opening it’s doors to end users and requesting application feedback. Quite a few Business Central users may not be aware of the forum Microsoft has created for Ideas submitted by the Dynamics Business Central community.

On the Dynamics 365 Ideas site, you can provide suggestions for new feature and capabilities. Your input goes directly to Business Central’s engineering backlog for investigation and prioritization. Users are also able to search through the list of submitted suggestions and vote if an idea already has been submitted to get it prioritized on the team’s backlog.  The team then chooses the highest ranking items and includes them in feature releases.  We have seen hundreds of these requests come through to the product which is delivered seamlessly through planned releases every 6 months.

If you are interested in learning more about Business Central and how it can transform your business, request a consultation and we will get back to you.
