Sales & Marketing Rep

Successful candidate will:

  • Develop a pool of prospective customers by way of cold-calling, networking, web hits and marketing efforts 
  • Maintain strong relationships with prospective customers including regular phone calls, emails and visits
  • Working with Operations and the Developer Team, negotiate, obtain signatures on customer contracts and NDA’s.
  • Upon receipt of signed contacts, maintain strong ties with customers
  • Service existing accounts, obtaining additional project orders
  • Based upon an accurate view of the business climate, develop sales goals, 
  • Submit activity and results reports of daily calls, weekly work plans and monthly and annual analysis
  • Resolve customer concerns by investigation, solution development, reporting and recommendations to management
  • Present sales pipeline updates on a regular basis
  • Monitor competition through gathering of current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge 
  • Develop and maintain promotional marketing materials including website, blog and social media

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/ Sales/ Product Develop with 3+ years of relative work experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (or other ERP system).  CRM knowledge is also desirable
  • Business acumen
  • Creative and persistent marketing efforts will be greatly appreciated in this position
  • Understands the strengths of the organization and sells to our capabilities
  • Solid networking skills; familiar with the Wine, Agriculture or Manufacturing industries is a plus
  • Ability to identify and react accurately to customers' behavior
  • Establishes rapport easily and puts people at ease
  • Excellent listening skills and a natural sense of curiosity
  • Goal oriented, possessing the ability to articulate clearly and assign accurate timelines
  • Does not require management direction/guidance, but will take constructive criticism
  • Possesses the self-discipline to service customers based upon their ongoing needs
  • Persistent in forcing an important issue even in the face of possible rejection
  • Enjoys sales as a profession
  • Determined to win and willing to take risks
